Mission

Yalla is a non-profit organization that uses soccer to prepare child survivors of war for college. Soccer is the hook, college is the goal.

Programs

Recreational and competitive soccer program for youths with aims at developing confident team players. In order to play soccer, kids must participate in our education academy. Boys and girls practice 3-4 timex a week and play games on the weekends and tournaments year round. A peace builder's soccer league for all levels is active during the winter and spring. yalla college prep program. A core group of counselors meet twice a week to guide students step by step through the college application process, seek out scholarships, grants, financial aid, and internships to facilitate a successful pursuit of higher education. High school juniors go through intensive sat prep. k-12 scholar-athelte academy, tutoring, and guidance. Engaged in implementing new strategic plan to use techonology and an adaptive curriculum. Kids must attend the education academy before they can participate in soccer. Small groups sessions focus on english literacy, vocabulary acquisition, art, and s. T. E. M education. High school students meet weekly to expand study skills and career exploration.
