The mission provides emergency subsistence to men, women, and families, including skills training with the inner-city poor. The mission involves the public in caring for the poverty-stricken with the ultimate goal of restoration of the whole person. They provide over 365 nights of shelter and 568,224 meals over the course of the year. in-kind donation totalling $4,604,092 are as follows: volunteer hours of 2,584total $60,338 and donated food, clothing and household goods total $4,543,754. the mission also provided tutoring, sports, youth camps and block parties to more than 3,773 inner-city youths.
