Mission

After-School All-Stars (ASAS) provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life. Our vision is for our All-Stars to be safe and healthy, to graduate high school and go to college, to find careers they love and then give back to their communities.

Programs

ASAS offers comprehensive after-school programs that help students succeed in school and in life. Program areas include Academic Readiness, Health and Fitness, Career Exploration, STEM, and Arts with youth leadership and service woven into all we do.

Demographics

ASAS is the largest school-based, non-profit, after-school program that is specifically focused on middle school students. Of the students we serve, 91% are youth of color, 55% are in the middle school grades, and 85% qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. ASAS serves nearly 75,000 students at 353 schools across the U.S.

After-School All-Stars (ASAS) operates 19 chapters in 12 states (California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington) and the District of Columbia.
