BCM, founded in 1984, has been providing services for inner-city youth of East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park for 23 years. Our mission is to give youth in grades 1-12 an opportunity to live productive lives through academic tutoring, mentoring, leadership training, job skills, college preparation, community service and spiritual development. We have daily tutoring for youth of all ages, weekly spiritual programs and currently have a number of college scholarship recipients attending schools around the nation.

Teachers, interns, and local volunteers help us teach and inspire students in STEAM subjects. StreetWorkz is a weekly gathering for middle school students to grow spiritually and to discuss relevant teen issues. Scholarships. BCM participants who graduate from high school are eligible to apply for an award towards their college education. Each following year, they can renew their award if they maintain their academic excellence.
