AnCan provides Peer-to-Peer Support, Patient Navigation & Advocacy for those living with chronic diseases and their caregivers. We started with cancer but are now extending our reach to other chronic conditions like MS and sarcoidosis. We serve many, including those compromised by geographical, physical and social disabilities. AnCan presently offers approximately 25 monthly Virtual Support Groups/video chats for 9 different conditions and life situations. In addtion we offer educational webinars. We are comprised entirely of volunteer men, women, and caregivers ; all our groups are peer-led. While we do not provide medical advice, we do empower patients to manage their own care.
