American Institute Of Musical Studies was founded in 1968 by Nora Sands to bridge the gap between education and career for singers, pianists, and instrumentalists by creating an international standard for professional music training.

Programs

The organization provided advanced vocal training for 125 students and auditions for over 300 applicants. The students accepted after auditions were provided six weeks of intensive vocal coaching in opera performance including musical theory and composition. The culmination of the program includes live performances for the general public.
