The mainstage and children's theatre season: each seaon the arden produces 5 mainstage and 2 children's theatre professional-level productions. These plays include a range of classics, contemporary pieces, musicals and world premiere plays. In the 2016/17 season we mounted 408 perfomances and sold a total of 104,446 tickets. The shows produced included: stupid f'ing bird, the legend of georgia mcbride, a year with frog & toad, john, a midsummer's night dream, the light princess, and gypsy. The average audience diveristy was as follows: 85% caucasian, 8% african american, 3% asian, 2% latino, and 2% other. 391 disabled patrons were served this season. This data is compiled by front of house staff. arden drama school: our series of one-day workshops, multi-week classes, and summer camps for kids in grades k-12. Arden drama school offered 41 one-day workshops, 27 saturday classes, and 23 camp sessions. A total of 2,628 students were served in 2016/17. arden for all: this education program distributes free tickets and show-related books to students from inner-city communities. It also includes an arts-integrated in-school residency program for 3rd through 5th grade students in schools in philadelphia and camden, nj as well as a the drama students at camden creative arts high school (cahs). In 2016/17 the arden served 6,196 students. The average diversity breakdown for this program is as follows: african american: 50%, caucasian: 4%, asian: 17%, latino: 28%, other: 1%.
