Yale union artistic program. In 2017 yale union produced 2 original exhibitions and 18 events and performances that featured the work of 34 artists. The objective of this activity is to carry our the organization's mission to support artists while proposing new modes of production and engaging the public in the discourse of art. We support artists by providing rigorous curatorial research on their work to collaboratively produce their exhibitions or support the platforms they elect to perform. This program supports artists' creative expression and champions the value of culture in healthy societies. Yale union engages an audience from oregon, the pacific northwest region, nationally and internationally by presenting a diverse mix of contemporary artists from different backgrounds and places and keep our programs free of charge or at minimal charge to remove economic barriers to access them. neighbors artist studio program. These studios are sites of production that allow portland-based artists to have the space they need to conceive, produce and maintain their artworks.
