Akin hall museum & library operations open to the public. Local public and private schools occasionally take field trips to the museum to learn about local history and tour the exhibits of a variety of natural and cultural specimens. The library contains a catalog of a variety of books. student scholarship services - awards scholarships to students who have contributed a significant amount of time to their school and community. In june 2017, eight scholarships were awarded.
