In 2016 the american society of church history ("asch") held itswinter conference in atlanta with approximately 250 attendees. The 2016 spring conference for approximately 40 attendees washeld in edmonton. Activities included presentations of papersby several scholars, discussion, touring if various religioussites around the respective cities and a meeting of the counciland the awarding of prizes for books, articles and essayspublished. in march, june, september and december of 2016 the asch publisheda quarterly newsletter "church history" in both print andelectronic formats for its members worldwide. Additionally, aschcontinued publishing the "history of christianity" blog in 2016.
