Stimulate and foster local community interest in dramatic art by providing quality affordable theatre productions, giving experience to individuals of varying levels for producing theatre, and establishing an educational series on theatre performance.

In the production of mary poppins more than 60 non-professionals were given a chance to perform and learn about acting and the theatre. In addition, other non-professionals were given the opportunity to build sets, run sound equipment and run the lighting equipment.
