Baltimore Clayworks is a neighborhood-based ceramic art center with a national reputation for artistic excellence, artists' support and community involvement. It is housed in an historic Carnegie library located at the corner of Smith Avenue and Greeley Road in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of Baltimore. Its mission is to develop sustain, and promote an artist-centered community that provides outstanding educational, artistic, and collaborative programs in the ceramic arts.

Community arts and adult/children education: provided sustained hands-on studio classes to 3,700 children and senior adults in inner baltimore city. artistic programs: provided access to workspace, equipment, and professional development for 15 resident and visiting artists. exhibitions: presented 16 gallery exhibitions of 397 national and international artists. classes and workshops: supported hands-on pottery and sculpture classes for 1,500+ students.
