`ao`ao o na loko i`a o maui is in the process of revitalizing an ancient hawaiian marine archaeological site on maui. In addition, the non-profit educates local maui schools, community organizations and the general public about the hawaiian cultural importance of fishponds and how it is related within the hawaiian ahupua`a system. In 2013, approximately 1,010 people participated in our education and/or fishpond restoration programs.
