The mission of the albany symphony association is to enrich the quaility of life in southwest georgia by providing and promoting symphonic music through the organization, development and support of a symphony orchestra and related educational, artisic and cultural activities.

Link-up concert - provides educational materials to area schools for students in grades three through five and culminates in concert allowing the children to participate with professional musicians in a concert. the albany symphony orchestra is a community orchestra that presents concerts to the public, civic organizations and area schools. the albany symphony orchestra contracts with private groups to provide musicians for events.
