Operate an air and space museum at keystone heights airport in keystone heights, florida; 2) restore, preserve and display vintage aircraft and warbirds, and artifacts and memorabilia relating to historical aviation, the space program, and world war ii and other military conflicts; 3) enlighten, engage and inspire the public, particularly young people, by showcasing the history of aviation, world war ii and america's space program through exhibits, educational programs, workshops, symposiums, air shows and reenactments; 4) use aviation and the space program to spark youthful imagination, discovery and curiosity in science and technology; and 5) promote this rich american heritage and present unique educational opportunities to an underserved area of north and north central florida.

Wings of dreams was awarded a nasa summer of innovation mini-grant for an after-school stem program (solar system adventures) in collaboration with the university of florida department of astronomy public outreach and taught by the director of the uf teaching observatories. This grant helped wings of dreams launch monthly star parties and stem education initiatives, which will include programs and mini-camps in the areas of astronomy, aviation and aerospace, and rocketry. Other planned programs and projects for students include scale aircraft modeling, a high-altitude balloon launching project with experiments, and educational programs in the areas of aviation and wwii history. wings of dreams added to its collection of historic space artifacts, transporting the space shuttle external (test) tank from kennedy space center, a second external tank transporter, orbiter processing facility white room, crew transporter vehicle, crew hatch access vehicle, solid rocket booster aft shirt and frustum, and the hubble mockup used in the neutral buoyancy laboratory at the johnson space center. The wings of dreams' collection includes more than 60 historic space artifacts and memorabilia. wings of dreams organized five (5) family-oriented fly-in events with seminar programs, featuring wwii veterans, notable aviators, historians and speakers. The purpose of these programs was to educate and enlighten the public on aviation, historical aviation, the space program and world war ii history, and to commemorate the patriotic service of all veterans. The programs included c-47 history and commemorations of the d-day normandy campaign, pearl harbor, veterans day and the service of col. Phil newman, wwii b-17 pilot. Other accomplishments during 2013 included fly-overs during community veteran commemorative events; aerospace education presentations to community and youth groups; school tours; development of interpretative displays and exhibits; and site clearing and preparation for the construction of a facility to house aircraft, exhibits, and historic space artifacts and to conduct aerospace educational programs.
