Program for academic and leadership skills (pals) is designed to help girls understand themselves, the world, and how to be great women in it. During the year ended 6/30/17, pals involved 173 students, 22 mentors and 19 volunteers. tenley achievement program (tap) is designed to cultivate virtue, encouraging boys to lead by example. During the year ended 6/30/17, tap involved 141 students, 29 mentors, and 15 volunteers. the johnny and mary clare holliday scholarship fund at ylf helps merit-worthy, need-based students of the organization to attend academically excellent, private schools in the region. During the year ended 6/30/17, scholarships were awarded to 13 students.
