The Foundation's mission statement reads ....."to..promote, educate and expand the Art of Ballroom Dancing." To this end the Foundation funds ballroom dance programs in public schools, provides summer camp activities to children and generally sponsors ballroom dancing events for young people. Grants and sponsorships are awarded to qualified deserving juniors (dancers under the age of 16), amateur dancers and professional teachers to assist with travel, costumes, lessons, fees and coaching.
