The organization purchased and donated medical opthalmology equipment to the hospital "elpis" in greece that serves uninsured and other people in need who do not have access to medical care. the organization gave a scholarship to one student of hellenic heritage for higher education studies the organization supported the national hellenic society in organzing an subsidized exploratory trip to greece for young greek-americans to get familiar with the culture and heritage of their ancestors the organization supported financially the hellenic library and the loyola marymount university hellenic studies program in educating the community on hellenic issues and the los angeles greek film festival organized by the balkan cultural center
