The Corporation is a nonprofit organization organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Coe of 1954, as amended or the corresponding provision of any subsequent Federal tax law. The purposes for which the Corporation is formed include, among others which will be added from time to time by amendment of the By-Laws of the Corporation: (1) supporting and revitalizing black performing arts institutions
