Maintain and operate the animal shelter for the benefit of the public; to provide services and educate the public about the humane care of animals. During 2016, the organization distributed animal care and well-being pamphlets at its care facilities and at a seasonal community outreach office in friday harbor. The shelter activities provided service to over 250 dogs and cats in 2017.
