The Animal Rescue Assistance Team Tennessee?s mission is to facilitate the rescue and adoption of animals from animal control facilities, and to prevent animals from entering animal control facilities in lower Middle Tennessee, and assist and educate any individual, group or entity who is working on the pet overpopulation issue in Tennessee. A.R.A.T.T. seeks rescue organizations for stray dogs or puppies in in the community and/or our local Animal Shelter, pulls dogs from the shelter, gets them vetted as necessary and transports them to safety.
