A.C.A.T.'s program efforts and resource application fall into 3 major spheres: 1) Rescue,Foster,Rehabilitation & Adoption, 2) Curbing Cat Population Growth and 3) Public Outreach. A.C.A.T. holds 3 adoption events per week, provides basic and advanced vet care to our foster cats, supports TNR of feral cats and provides advanced vet care to feral cats, and provides low cost spay/neuter to cat owners. We rely on volunteers to open up their homes and act as foster families for cats and kittens prior to adoption. A.C.A.T. also provides counseling and advice regarding behavioral and cat care issues to current owners and to the public, and educates the public about the need for spay/neuter, how to help cats, and how to address animal neglect and abuse.
