Statistics for 2014 are as follows: - saved over 94% of the animals in our care for the 3rd straight year - gained increasing national and regional recognition as maryland's only municipal shelter of hope - reached the "lucky 33" in time to save more than 3 dozen dogs and their expectant puppies from abandonment and neglect - improved animal control telephone support and procedures - energized and proactive new appointments to the animal control board
