Youth futures international has a mission to maximize the potential for youth around the world to develop them into successful global young leaders. Through hands on experiential learning, leadership, and cross cultural initiatives, youth futures international brings students together from around the world to make a positive impact on the overall wellness of the communities our programs serve.

The organization is an educational program based in amherst, massachusetts, that has been providing international travel experiences for high school students since 2010 with its "serve,learn & empower! " program in ghana, west africa and the ultimate med internship (umi), whereby students serious about pursuing careers in medicine participated in an intership in india; and youth futures international (yfi),which was designed to provide hiv education and advocacy to youth and adults in ghana, west africa.
